Direct Email & Response Expectations

You can write directly to tooltux1@gmail.com or submit the online message form with your name, reply email address, inquiry category, and description. ToolTux is maintained by an independent developer; every submission is read personally, and reproducible bug reports, documentation corrections, and privacy or data deletion requests are prioritized, though reply times vary depending on message volume.

Before sending a general question, you can also check our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Privacy Policy for immediate answers about client-side browser processing, commercial usage rights, supported browsers, and cookie settings.

When to Reach Out

  • Bug Reports: Unexpected parsing errors, layout issues on mobile or desktop screens, broken copy or download buttons, or edge-case calculation discrepancies.
  • New Tool Suggestions: Browser-friendly formatters, converters, CSS helpers, or developer utilities you would like added to the directory.
  • Content Corrections: Typos, outdated standard references, or unclear step-by-step instructions on any tool page or blog guide.
  • Privacy & Data Requests: Questions about our Cookie Policy or Privacy Policy, or requests to delete a comment, review, or contact message you previously submitted.

What to Include in a Bug Report

Sharing clear technical context helps us reproduce and resolve issues quickly:

  • Tool Name or URL: Mention the exact utility (for example, /tool/json-formatter or /tool/security-headers-checker).
  • Browser & Device: Note your web browser and operating system (such as Chrome on Android, Firefox on Linux, or Safari on macOS).
  • Sample Input (Redacted): Provide a small synthetic snippet that triggers the issue so we can test the exact case.
  • Keep Secrets Private: Never paste real passwords, live JWT bearer tokens, private API keys, session cookies, or confidential personal records into the contact form.
